Norman Rampton Retires as President
NORMAN RAMPTON RETIRES AS PRESIDENT
Following their move to Chippenham, Norman and Mary Rampton are having to
considerably reduce their participation in Falcon Bowling Club business. Both Norman
and Mary have made a huge contribution to the running of the Club. Mary served for
many years as Ladies Secretary and Ladies Fixture Secretary. Norman has served on
the Management Committee continuously since 1993 either in the role of Hon
Secretary, Hon Treasurer and more recently as President and was the driving force
behind obtaining Lottery Fund money to make the building of the new Clubhouse
possible. The club is indebted to them both and they will be sadly missed.
At the recent AGM, they were presented with a token of appreciation from the members
of Falcon BC by the incoming President Myra Savage.
